It's okay for you to report an injury to management and seek medical treatment. This way it allows your employers to be aware and for them to cover the cost of your treatments. Businesses have medical insurance to cover the cost of treatment for any work related injury.

Report your Accident/Injury ASAP!

It is okay for you to inform your employer that you have been injured while on the job regardless how serious the injury may be. You, as the worker, have the right to submit a work injury claim and seek medical treatment and examination. It is your employers responsibility to provide a safe working environment therefore any injures that occur on the job, it is their responsibility to cover your medical expenses. As you seek chiropractic care you should also inform the doctor that your injury is work related. Take notes on your level of pain and how it affects your daily activities such as getting dressed, walking, standing and even sleeping. With this information the doctor will be more informed to better tailor the treatment to your specific injury. The sooner you get treated the better the outcome.
